2007 – 2008 WSU Men’s Ice Hockey
The WSU Club Hockey Team is taking on their cross Palouse rivals University of Idaho Thursday, November 15th, 7:30 p.m. at the Veteran Memorial Ice Pavilion located on the Moscow fairgrounds. Cost in $4 per person. This is the ONLY local game this season. Come out to watch you hard hitting Cougs in action. Directions are:
Stay on the Pullman/Moscow highway as you enter Moscow. Continue until you reach Jackson Street (a one way st.). Turn right on Jackson and follow the signs leading to the Troy highway (HWY 8). Continue on the Troy highway until you come to the last stop light adjacent to Paradise Ford, bringing you to the Blaine intersection. Take a left on Blaine and continue until you come to the first four way stop (White Ave. intersection). Turn right onto White Ave then take the very next left. You are now in the Latah County Fairgrounds. Continue down the road to the middle of the grounds then take a right. From there you should see a large white dome. That dome is the Palouse Ice Rink.
Stanford comes to town for a pair of games; these games are huge as WSU tries to get its first Pac-8 wins of the year. Also two games against University of Washington got changed to Jan. from early Nov. The Cougars are sitting on a winning record of 5 - 4 and looks to add to that on Dad's weekend.
Games will be in Spokane and are free to anyone. The game on Friday is at 7:15 and the game on Saturday is at 10:15 so there is plenty of time to come up after the football game. So if you are around bring your dad up for some good Pac-8 hockey!
